Context
The Handelsblatt Energie-Gipfel is the top-tier German-speaking conference for senior leaders in energy policy and the energy industry. The panel brought together three perspectives: a transmission system operator (Elia/50Hertz), an established utility (EnBW) and a security firm specialised in critical infrastructure — focused on the operational security of critical infrastructure and the question of how cyber and physical protection tasks can be brought together in a system that is becoming both more digital and more decentralised.
